1/24/23 Grief

We know this time is special.

We’ve given you all of the signs.

She is nearby helping you to know.

That it was meant to be.

You still don’t want to believe it.

It is too much to ask.

Is it too much to ask?

Put it all in order-

All that we’ve given you over these many years.

Think with your heart, not your mind.

Your body and mind ache for that human response.

But your heart knows it’s all still here.

We understand and give you these moments to grieve and be despaired.

Come back to what you know, who you are.

Let that guide you forward.

The light is shining brightly for you to see the way.

Not a moment is forgotten; not a moment did you spare.

All of them are important.

They helped you to make you who you are and who she is, as well.

So let your body and mind wander if you must -

Not too far you’ll go.

We’ll bring you back in an instant-

Back to what you know.

Love is forever, whenever, wherever.

It is the connection.

We are with you, always.
