cheering) the chaos about making it just right gets louder and louder.
It’s so loud, music and lights,
that the true feeling of Christmas cannot be heard.
Cannot be seen or heard.
The Meaning of Christmas is Love.
The Mystery of Christmas is
Love.
It’s not something you’ll find
under the tree wrap in a shiny box with a bow.
So, if that’s where you are
looking to find it – you’ll fail.
The Mystery of Christmas is in the
people around you.
The people who your live touch and
intertangle with in so many ways.
Look there.
What love is found there?
How does your life, the life of
God, touch and make their lives better.
How does their life, also the life
of God, touch you and make your life better.
And it’s not just at this time of
the year.
This Love is alive all seasons of
the year.
The lights, the music, and the
stories just ring our loud this time of the year.
If Christmas Cheer helps to bring
this Love to the surface, then keep it loud all year.
Just wade through the bright
lights and music to find the Mystery of Christmas, the Love, that is shared.
It’s subtle but there.
